My name is Mihir and I'm a level designer with a deep interest in multiplayer FPS design. Here you'll find information on projects I've worked on in teams and solo. Feel free to hit me up on LinkedIn or my contact page!

Me and gaming

I really owe it to my older brother for getting me into games. My earliest memories were of my brother and I going back and forth between Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (where, of course being the younger kid, chased after him as Tails), and Zone of the Enders. From then on, games like Halo, Destiny, and Final Fantasy (to name a few) really shaped my interests and fueled my desire to join the gaming industry.

I had an awesome opportunity at SMU to study Creative Computation, a tie between computer science and interactive installation development. This major developed a technical foundation that naturally progressed into my game focused studies at SMU Guildhall, a graduate program for game development. It was here I studied level design, worked with amazing peers on making games, and developed my interests as a multiplayer designer.

Outside of gaming

I’ve been a musician pretty much my entire life. I’m self-taught in Piano, Drums, Classical and Electric Guitar, and Bass. As a composer, I write a variety of music ranging from instrumental rock to mellow theme songs/solo piano compositions.

I run a YouTube channel where I post original songs and covers. Currently, I’m working on my first album and aim to have that up on Spotify soon!
